At W.o.M.a.N, we’re deeply grateful for the women and allies who give their time, gifts, and heart to this mission. Our featured volunteers go above and beyond to support our work — from event support to program development and creative strategy.
Ashley has been instrumental in helping W.o.M.a.N' refine its visual presence, messaging, and outreach strategy. With a background in entrepreneurship support, creative community-building, and nonprofit service, she brings thoughtful structure, clear communication, and creative heart to our mission. As a dedicated volunteer-Ashley supports our digital voice and storytelling - helping us show up with clarity and care for the women we serve.
Ashley Wenger is a marketing strategist, program manager, and small business supporter. After graduating from James Madison University in 2022 with a degree in Marketing, she began working at the Shenandoah Community Capital Fund (SCCF), where she helps entrepreneurs and small businesses connect with resources, funding, and education to start and grow. From 2023–2024, she helped initiate and volunteer with the Shenandoah Valley CreativeMornings chapter, a monthly event for creative individuals. She also volunteers with The Network Incubator, a Richmond-based nonprofit entrepreneur support organization. In her free time, Ashley enjoys visiting coffee shops, writing her Substack newsletter, and reading in the sculpture garden at the VMFA.
From the very beginning, Katie Taylor has been a steady, wise, and deeply supportive force behind the growth of W.o.M.a.N. As a coach and mentor, she’s helped us bring structure to our vision, guiding us step by step as we moved from an idea into a fully forming nonprofit organization.
Through thoughtful facilitation and intentional reflection, Katie helped us clarify our purpose, organize our framework, and build the internal structure needed to grow with integrity. She invited us to not only dream boldly, but to visualize what our future could look like — and then build toward it with courage and clarity. Whether she’s helping us define our roles, refine our strategy, or hold space for leadership conversations, Katie has shown up with care, insight, and unwavering belief in what we’re creating. She has truly helped move W.o.M.a.N. forward — one thoughtful step at a time. We’re deeply grateful to have her as part of our journey.
Katie Taylor is a transformation coach, team facilitator, and speaker, and the owner of Donatello Coaching. As a coach, she helps people bring bold
dreams, meaningful projects, and powerful ideas to life. As a facilitator, she helps teams align, collaborate, and make better decisions faster. In every setting, Katie guides people to shift how they see themselves, uncover hidden possibilities, and move forward with clarity, creativity, and purpose.
