Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@workingonmakinganew.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Working on Making a New Woman is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to helping women heal, reclaim their worth, and become their most empowered selves. We are a faith-grounded, trauma-informed, and woman-centered movement offering emotional wellness tools, healing programs, and empowerment workshops. Through community, coaching, creativity, and care, we guide women from survival to self-love and wholeness.

W.o.M.a.N. is more than a program, it is a healing-centered space designed to meet women where they are, emotionally and financially.

What makes us different is our approach:

  • We are trauma-informed, not surface-level

  • We combine structured curriculum with real conversation and reflection

  • We focus on self-worth, not just self-improvement

  • We create safe, supportive spaces, not judgment or pressure

  • We offer accessible options, including sliding scale pricing

Our programs are intentionally designed to help women move from survival patterns into clarity, confidence, and emotional stability, at their own pace.

Yes. W.o.M.a.N. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Our Core Programs:

Our signature programs provide structured, guided experiences for deeper transformation:

  • Self-Worth Building Blocks

  • Healing to Wholeness

  • Caregiver’s Sanctuary

Each program is designed to support emotional healing, strengthen confidence, and help women reconnect with their sense of self in a safe and supportive environment.

W.o.M.a.N is faith-grounded and trauma-informed. While we honor spiritual principles, our programs are inclusive and welcoming to women from diverse backgrounds.

Our programs are designed for women who are:

  • Navigating emotional healing

  • Rebuilding confidence and self-worth

  • Going through life transitions

  • Seeking a safe and supportive community

W.o.M.a.N is designed for women who are open to growth, reflection, and personal responsibility in their healing journey.

This space may not be the best fit if you are:

  • Looking for a quick fix or immediate results without personal effort

  • Unwilling to engage in self-reflection or group participation

  • Expecting clinical therapy or crisis intervention services

  • Not open to respectful community guidelines and shared space

Our programs are most effective for women who are ready to be honest with themselves, take small steps forward, and engage in a supportive environment.

Every woman’s journey is different, but many participants experience:

  • Increased self-awareness and emotional clarity

  • Stronger boundaries and improved communication

  • Greater confidence and sense of self-worth

  • Tools to manage triggers, stress, and emotional patterns

  • A deeper connection to themselves and a supportive community

Our goal is not perfection, but progress. We focus on helping women build a strong internal foundation they can continue to grow from long after the program ends.

No. Our programs are not a replacement for licensed therapy. We provide structured, trauma-informed support, coaching, and wellness-based experiences to complement personal growth.

We offer both virtual and in-person options depending on the program and location.

Our core programs typically run 6–8 weeks, with weekly sessions designed to support consistent growth, reflection, and community connection.

In addition to our structured programs, we also offer flexible options such as:

  • One-time workshops

  • Monthly community sessions

  • Wellness and self-care experiences

These may range from single sessions to ongoing monthly offerings, depending on the program type.

We use a sliding scale model to make our programs accessible. Pricing varies based on income level, with options ranging from low-cost to standard rates.

Yes. We offer limited scholarships and sliding scale pricing to ensure women can access support regardless of financial situation.

Yes, absolutely.

You do not need to be “fully healed” to join. In fact, most women come while they are still processing, rebuilding, and figuring things out.  W.o.M.a.N was created for women in real life moments, not perfect ones.

Whether you are:

  • Feeling overwhelmed

  • Rebuilding your confidence

  • Navigating emotional pain or transition

  • Trying to find your voice again

You are welcome here.

You can come as you are, take what you need, and grow at your own pace in a supportive and respectful environment.

That’s completely okay. You can reach out to us directly, and we’ll help you determine if a program is a good fit for where you are right now.
